A Bornean walkabout 
If you don’t mind me asking do you remember what the price was for this boat ride? Are most of these trips between longhouses pretty similar in terms of price?

The price was less than 50 ringgit. This ferry connects two villages, not longhouses. You’ll find longboats way more common than ferries. Prices vary many folds and depend on a number of factors, not last being your ability at bargaining. Good luck.
